New Management Announcement Letter

Dear Neighbors,

When the new Council was elected in May 2021 we promised residents that all contracts would be reviewed. After seven months of hearing input from residents, observing the operations of DonMon, LLC, researching and conducting several interviews with professional management companies, and after careful consideration, the Council voted unanimously to hire Preferred Management Associates as our new property management company. Brad Jones, who will be our Property Manager, is the Managing Partner. Brad has extensive professional credentials and experience managing community associations and we are confident that his company’s customer service model is in line with what we homeowners are seeking. One of the characteristics that stood out about Brad is his understanding and compassion for older and/or disabled homeowners and the families who care for them.

Those in attendance at Monday’s Council & Residents meeting had an opportunity to meet with Brad. There are several new services that his company will provide to us and there will be a significant cost savings. Council is in the process of putting together more detailed information for residents that will be shared shortly, Brad will be back to meet with residents again soon, and Preferred Management will send all residents a welcome packet.

Rest assured, there will not be a lapse in management coverage for FAB II. The contract with DonMon, LLC will terminate on April 30, 2022 and Preferred Management will begin on May 1, 2022. Until the contract ends, DonMon, LLC has the contractual responsibility to perform their current duties such as accepting work orders and handling our finances.

We understand that major changes to our neighborhood such as this come with questions, concerns, and adjustments. We ask that you give the Council and Preferred Management time to show that the right decision was made for the residents of FAB II.
